"When our mother died a few months ago we chose Debbie to be the celebrant for her funeral. Thanks to Debbie our wonderful Mum was given the most beautiful send off. Debbie immersed herself in the life of our Mum and created a superb and unique celebration of her life. It was everything that someone so loved, and so important in our lives, deserved, and more. Through the entire process Debbie was deeply sensitive to our grief and supportive of what each member of the family needed to properly say goodbye. The highest praise we can give is that after the funeral, Dad asked Debbie to officiate at his funeral when the time comes for him to join our Mum. Thank you so much Debbie . "

"I work closely with the Funeral Director and crematorium management to maintain a high degree of personal involvement with the bereaved family throughout, from the initial meeting through to creating and then leading the ceremony.I am also trained in special areas such as traumatic deaths, suicides, miscarriage, stillborn and the death of a child.Unlike a secular ceremony, hymns, scripture readings and prayers can be included. Also, favourite music can be played. Others can be included in the ceremony to participate in poem or eulogy reading for example. You can be sure that everything in the ceremony will have been approved by you.Whether your family is secular, religious, spiritual, interfaith, atheist, agnostic or you simply wish to express yourself in a manner of your own choosing, I can create a meaningful end-of-life tribute. My role is to reflect the families of the deceased histories, personalities, values and beliefs without judgment."
